Ellie Jane Goulding is a British woman born on December 30, 1986. Tracey Goulding Summers Her mother was employed at a grocery store. Arthur Goulding is the father. Goulding's older sister Isabel, and second sister Jordan have sisters. Alex is her brother. Alex, Goulding's brother, performs bass. Also, he is an Hereford musician. When she was a child she was encouraged to pursue a career in music by her mom. She began learning to play the clarinet when she was age nine. Lillywhite linked her with Music producer Starsmith. Starsmith helped in November 2009 with the publication of Under the Sheets, her debut single. Starsmith then collaborated on Lights the album that she released her debut. Despite their release of Under the Sheets on the indie label Neon Gold Records she was already signed to Polydor Records.
